Meet Joy Terra

Joy Terra is a gay Brazilian artist who turns identity, lived experience and freedom into artistic expression.

A singer and songwriter, he writes every track of his original work, the result of years devoted to songwriting and of his experience in theater, where he developed his writing and his artistic vision.

His sound moves between pop, sertanejo, funk and the many sounds of Brazilian music, in a mix that is irreverent, authentic and free of labels.

With LGBTQIAPN+ representation at the heart of his art, Joy turns music into a space of belonging, provocation and celebration of the freedom to be who you are.

Born in Limeira, in the countryside of São Paulo, Joy now lives and creates in Florianópolis.
